Together, we’ll cook in our garden using fresh local ingredients while sharing recipes, cooking techniques and the stories behind the food that brings Nicaraguan families together. During our Cooking Workshop in León, you’ll prepare three traditional Nicaraguan dishes: repochetas, Indio Viejo and buñuelos. As we cook together, you’ll learn about the ingredients, local spices and family recipes that have been passed down through generations. We’ll also share a traditional local drink and sit down together to enjoy everything we’ve prepared in our garden. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with new recipes, new friends and a deeper appreciation for Nicaragua’s rich food culture.
